昨日に続き12/30エントリで紹介した論争の余燼ネタ。 そのエントリの後半ではNick Roweのクルーグマン批判を紹介したが、そこでRoweが提示した世代重複モデルを小生なりに翻案すると次のようになる*1。 前提: 一世代は2期間生き、各期間で2世代が重複して存在する。 成長はなく、生産はYで一定。 債務が存在しなければ、各期間に存在する2つの世代はYを折半して消費する(投資[民間、政府いずれも]は存在しないものとする)。 金利iは一定。 時系列推移: t=0 世代AがY/2消費する ※ ここ(t=0期末ないしt=1期初)で債券bが発行される。 債券は世代Aが購入するが、その調達額はそのまま世代Aに所得移転されるので、世代Aの所得の差し引きはゼロ。世代Aの手元には債券が残される。 t=1 世代Aが Y/2 + b*(1+i) 消費する 世代Bが Y/2 - b*(1+i) 消費する 世代
